Five rituals inspired by pre-christian folklore and traditions of the British Isles.

We all have our little rituals.

Every ritual is a sacrifice.
Every ritual is a fertility rite.
You are performing rituals every day.

Designed for use in TTRPG  and narrative games of any kind, these rituals draw on traditions from pre-christian cultures throughout the british isles. The book includes some of the source material that inspired the rituals, in their original languages and with translation into modern english. The five rituals echo the "wheel of the year" celebrations, still used in many places to celebrate the changing seasons and mark the passage of time, starting with Tobair an Oidhche nas Fhaidhe, the Well of the Longest Night; an encounter with a strange ivy-creature inspired by Yule and winter solstice celebrations, and ending with Cnoc nam Mairbh, the Hill of the Dead, in which players come across a person being buried alive as part of a community's harvest festival. The book can be used as a series of linked adventures that represent a journey through the year in which the continued existence of the seasons hang in the balance, or as discrete, short adventures, designed to be dropped into a larger game as a strange, but hopefully fun interlude.
